Your Wavlink router setup is far from complex. If you follow the instructions below, your network will be ready in no time. First things first, connect the router to a power supply. Then, connect it to the modem using an Ethernet cable. Next, open a web browser on a device connected to the router and go to wifi.wavlink.com or enter the default IP address provided in the user guide in the URL bar.

Use the default login credentials, which are typically under the device, and change the Wi-Fi SSID and password as instructed on the screen. For security reasons, make sure the password is strong. Reboot the router once the password has been set and the changes have been saved. This will enforce the new settings.

If the setup is not working as expected, a quick reset should be able to restart the setup assuming the Internet-of-Things device is able to provide a factory reset. Wavlink routers, once fully configured, provide faster speeds, better coverage and a more dependable internet connection.
