Pipe jacking refers to a kind of hidden Belt Filter Press excavation construction method used when tunnels or underground pipelines cross various obstacles such as railways, roads, rivers or buildings.
During construction, the tube is pressed into the soil layer by means of a force-carrying jack and a guide rail, and the soil on the front of the pipe is excavated and transported.
When the first section of pipes is all pushed into the soil layer, then the second section of pipes is connected to the back to continue to be ejected, so that a section of pipes is pushed in, the interface is made, and the culvert is built.
The pipe jacking method is particularly suitable for the construction multi disc screw press of culverts or rivers and lakes that pass through established buildings and lines of communication. Pipe jacking is divided into mechanical excavation jacking, extrusion jacking, hydraulic mechanical excavation and manual excavation jacking according to different excavation methods.

Construction Wall Penstocks characteristics of pipe jacking:
1. Suitable for soft soil or water-rich soft soil layer;
2. No need to dig the earth, the impact on the ground is small;
3. Less equipment, simple process, short construction period, low cost and fast speed;
4. Suitable for medium-sized pipeline (1.5~2m) pipeline construction;
5. Large diameter, ultra-long ejection, difficult to correct.
Underground pipeline construction can be carried out through roads, railways, rivers, and above-ground buildings.
6. Pipes can be laid deep underground.
